Citywide Services is a non-profit making, accountable organisation which strives to achieve the highest standards in each of our services.
We have been providing Catering and Cleaning Services in schools and non-educational buildings across Greater Manchester since 1990 and operate as part of the Salford City Council’s Place Directorate based in Salford.
One of Citywide Services main aims is to provide living wage paid, reliable jobs for our community, where employees will be given the skills and training to develop. Most of our employees work within a 10-minute walk of the building they work in, providing work and training opportunities for the local community.

At Citywide Services we believe our greatest resource is our people.
We take great care to put the right people in post through our stringent recruitment process. Once a team member is on board with us, we work hard to encourage them to stay, as we recognise that our people is our most important resource. As well as being directly responsible for delivering your service, in most of our sites they become part of the sites team as well.
Our training and development team build upon the talents of our team by investing in their training. This ensures they are given all the necessary skills to deliver excellence. Our training includes nationally recognised catering qualifications, safeguarding, food hygiene, manual handling, COSHH training, customer service and many more.
